	Send an Email You can write your own email, or you can edit one of the emails we have set up for you on our website.
	Host a Solar Party! Celebrate your new solar system by inviting your friends over for a party. SolarCity can help you organize and cover costs for your event. Your Solar Consultant can be on hand to give an informal presentation and answer questions. Party guests who sign up for their own solar system within 30 days of an event receive a $100 Home Depot gift card!
	Share a Video Check out our online video library and send a link to your friends.

Here's How the Program Works
1	Talk to your friends, family, colleagues & neighbors about why you chose to go solar.
2	Tell them to mention your name when they first call SolarCity so that we can credit you for the referral.
3	To thank you, we will send you: $400 for every friend who installs a SolarCity solar system on their home $1,000 for every friend who installs a SolarCity solar system on their business $100 for every friend who purchases energy efficiency improvements
4	Once your friend's project is complete, we will notify you with a request for tax identification information and once received, we will send your payment within 60 days.
	How do I qualify for the referral incentive program? Every SolarCity customer can participate in the referral incentive program. To be a customer of SolarCity, you must have signed a contract with us for a solar system or energy efficiency service. Your name must be mentioned when the referral first contacts SolarCity. We are unable to add referrer names after that point in time.
	How do I enter a referral? All customers receive an email with a link to enter referral information directly to SolarCity. Existing customers can have this email resent by clicking the button below. Resend Referral Email
	Who should I refer to SolarCity? Anyone with sunshine on their roof! SolarCity currently services home and business owners in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington D.C. and Washington state. We hope to expand to more states in the near future.

The referral program cannot be used with other promotional offers or group discounts.

If a customer later takes advantage of one of our product offerings, their original referrer does not automatically qualify for additional referral payments. To qualify for the energy efficiency referral payment, improvements must be made within one year of becoming a SolarCity customer.

To qualify for the Lucky 6 Customer Referral Promotion, you must be an existing SolarCity customer and your referrals must sign a contract for a new residential PV solar system between April 1, 2012 - June 30, 2012. Ask your friends to mention your name when they first contact SolarCity so that we can give you credit for the referral. We will pay you $400 for the first five friends that install a residential solar system, $1,000 for the sixth friend and any additional referrals that sign a contract within the promotion timeframe. The customer referral program and promotion is not valid with group discount programs. The Home Depot gift card promotion is valid for qualifying homeowners that attend a Solar Party between April 1, 2012 and June 30, 2012. Home Depot gift card customers must sign Solar PV contract within 30 calendar days of the event date.
