Local seminars, question-and-answer sessions to educate homeowners on affordable clean power options.
FOSTER CITY, Calif., May 29, 2008—Soaring energy costs and growing concern about pollution and climate change are prompting more families to seek renewable energy alternatives. SolarCity, California’s #1 residential solar installer, today announced a series of summer seminars to help inform California residents about affordable new ways to switch to clean, solar power. Each session will detail new solar financing options that can allow homeowners to switch to renewable power with no upfront cost and save money from day one. Each seminar will highlight recent developments in solar technology and explain federal and state tax incentives that reduce the cost of solar power. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions about local permit processes, local solar programs, roofing and electrical requirements and other information specific to their communities.
SolarCity’s summer seminars will begin June 7 and extend into the summer in communities across California. To find a seminar in your area or to RSVP online, please visit www.solarcity.com/events. To RSVP by phone, please call 1-888-SOL-CITY (1-888-765-2489). Scheduled seminars by date and location:
