Your solar system can be monitored from your Apple iPhone™ or iPod® touch at any time. Follow these steps to add the SolarCity iPhone application icon:
From your iPhone or iTouch, use the Safari web browser and navigate to www.mysolarcity.com.
Log in to your My SolarCity Account.
Once logged in, your SolarGuard® or PowerGuide™ account will appear on screen (shown below).
It is very important not to visit any other SolarGuard pages until the installation of the iPhone application icon is complete.
Visiting any other SolarGuard or PowerGuide page will install the application to view only historical data, not the current real-time monitoring data for your system.
Touch the plus sign
at the bottom of the iPhone display, then choose 'Add to Home Screen'.
Type the name 'SolarGuard' or 'SolarCity' in the text window, then click the 
button in the upper right.
Your SolarCity iPhone application icon installation is now complete. You should see the green icon on your iPhone or iPod touch interface as shown below.
Additional Tips
- Touching the SolarCity iPhone app icon will always take you to your most current SolarGuard or PowerGuide information.
